Handle rivets do not need to be peened they are friction fit so you can take your handles on and off easily 5 foot saw with Great American style teeth which means each tooth cuts the wood and clears the shavings. The gullets are added to enable the waste wood to be cleared whilst cutting. Comes sharp from the factory. The sharpened bevel on this design are much flatter than other designs. The flatter angles from the factory are the most versatile as you can take metal away for a steeper angle should you prefer but this is a personal preference not necessarily functional in every wood More heavy duty than most modern saws on the market. Made from British CS80 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 44-46 Blade thickness of 1.5mm to provide the superior stiffness required when cutting on long strokes. Can be Re-sharpened using a Large File These saws are made to last a lifetime with proper care. Simply oil and clean after every use. They are easily sharpened with a large file.
