Product Features

This is the Japanese router plane for making grooves or dados at a certain width. Japanese planes are used with a pulling force rather than a pushing force, the opposite of what is used in the Westen plane, which makes it easier to apply force evenly. In Japan, they are also used to make rails for furniture and shoji doors.
